David Pang is a corporate attorney who enjoys working with startups and learning new industries along the way. Soon after the start of his legal career, David left the comfort of in-house counsel to start his private practice. After hanging up his shingle, David had numerous small business clients ranging from a children’s day care center to a small film studio. Though David enjoyed helping his clients, he ventured away from his legal career by taking a position at the San Francisco Federal Reserve. Soon after, David found himself in healthcare for numerous years, including negotiating contracts for one of the biggest health systems in Hawaii. But years later, David’s experience in contracts eventually lead him back to practicing law.
Along his career path, David also pursued his passions which included: taking a much needed break after law school by moving across the country to bartend for two years; later, trying his luck at starting a brewery in Utah (no dice); and David’s favorite, while in the pandemic moving back to Hawaii and leaving his job to get his revenge travel, first stop - Japan.
Now David has his sights set on the entertainment industry via Launch Dog Productions. He’s making new connections and creating great relationships, all in the hopes of partnering with magnificent people to produce some great films that the masses can enjoy.
David holds a BS in Psychology and an MBA from Westminster College, along with a JD from New England Law Boston.
